We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients growing team. This is a mobile role, providing service, maintenance, and reactive repairs across both commercial and domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in commercial and domestic properties.
Diagnose and repair faults in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Conduct servicing and safety checks on all air conditioning systems.
Ensure high levels of first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction.
Make on-the-spot decisions regarding additional repair requirements and communicate effectively with management and clients.
Complete and return all required documentation promptly.
Liaise with clients, management, and assist in installation works when required.
Follow all site rules, company policies, and health & safety procedures.
Maintain company property (vehicle, tools, uniform) to the required standards.
Participate in a rota-based emergency call-out team.
Take a proactive approach in identifying and quoting for additional work.
Requirements:
Recognised air conditioning apprenticeship with proven commercial experience.
Strong fault-finding, servicing, repair, and maintenance skills.
Proficient in using test equipment, including electrical multi-meters.
Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undertake further training as required.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Basic IT skills.
